Jeremy Dewaard

Role: Adjunct Professor (Environmental Sciences)

Dr. Jeremy Dewaard is Associate Director of Collections at the Centre for Biodiversity Genomics and an Adjunct Professor in the School of Environmental Sciences. He holds a BSc and MSc from the University of Guelph and a PhD from the University of British Columbia. He leads a research team of twenty staff and students, manages a natural history collection of over four million invertebrate specimens, and oversees all operations and research initiatives linked to the acquisition and processing of specimens for DNA barcode analysis.
