Diversifying crop rotations and the use of cover crops is necessary to promote soil health. These strategies improve soil ecosystem services with improved water filtration and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. The project will gather comprehensive data on plant phenology by installing cameras to record traits and provide continuous information on the surfaces from which soil processes are being observed. The data produced on carbon sequestration will be shared in a database that will enable policy development.
